PAD MOUNTED TRANSFORMERS

Pad Mounted Distribution Transformers are used in the Power Grid to step down or step up voltage depending on the specific need. Padmounted transformers are fed from underground and typically contain Mineral Oil or Natural Ester Fluid. These transformers usually range from 15 KVA up to 5000 KVA and have a primary voltage between 2400 – 34500 volts, but can also be designed up to 10,000 kVA and 69,000 volts.

Pad Mounted transformers are used in a wide range of industries, including; power generation, utility, industrial, mining, oil & gas, as well as government.
